'Can I turn the tray icon off' section edited. May need editing again if the *nix versions of Pidgin have the same tray icon control as Windows.

    167  Sorry, no.  The tray icon will load if you have a Notification Area or if you are using Windows.
     167Yes and no.  By default the tray icon will load if you have a Notification Area on your operating system.  If you are using Windows, the tray icon can be configured in Tools | Preferences | Interface.  Change the 'System Tray Icon' setting to 'Always', 'Never', or 'On unread messages' as you prefer.
